Cartoonist goes into hiding after Copenhagen attacks

Lars Vilks, the Swedish cartoonist who escaped the deadly attack in Copenhagen on Saturday, confirmed that he has gone into hiding. 

He said he doesn't want to say when he first went into hiding and that he is not afraid. 

Vilks, known for his controversial depictions of the Prophet Mohammed, is on an al Qaeda hit list.

The suspect in Saturday's attack has been named as Omar Abdel Hamid El-Hussein, say reports. Police have not formally identified the gunman.
