Tehelka former editor Tarun Tejpal will not appear at TOI Litfest

The organisers of the Times of India Litfest have withdrawn the invitation to Tarun Tejpal to appear in a panel titled, The Tyranny of Power.

It would have been Tejpal's first public appearance since the scandal broke last year. Tejpal, former Tehelka editor, has been accused of raping a junior colleague at the magazine's annual confab in Goa last year. Tejpal is now out on bail.
