LIVE! Centre asks SC/ST panel chief, NCW chief to resign

After NDMA officials, the Centre has now asked the SC/ST panel's chief PL Punia and National Commission for Women chief Mamata Sharma (pictured) to resign. The centre has been cracking down on all political appointees across departments. Both Sharma and Punia are UPA appointees.

Earlier today, the government asked National Disaster Management Agency members to put in their papers. NDMA members said they will resign if the government insists.
