Why Congress MPs were a barely audible in Parliament today

In the backdrop of NCP leader Narayan Rane quitting the Maharashtra cabinet, as well as Assam State's Education and Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma quitting the Congress, party MPs in Central Hall faced difficulties in answering questions about the sudden exodus.

The humiliation was written large on the faces of Congress MPs in Central Hall and they barely acknowledged anyone. Immediately after lunch break most of them left the Parliament for fear that they would be made to answer uncomfortable questions.
