Like we said, here's more.

BJP MP Kirti Azad went up to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi soon after Arun Jaitley finished presenting the Budget possibly to suggest to her and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi that it would be nice gesture if they could walk up to the ailing Arun Jaitley.

Sonia consulted Mallikarjun Kharge, who is leader of the oppostion in the Lok Sabha and Jyotiraditya Scindia. While Scindia walked up to Jaitley, Rahul was not keen on suggestion and walked away.

Sonia took notes while Jaitley was presenting the budget especially when he said that Rs 200 crore will be granted to the government of
Gujarat for erecting the Sardar Vallabhai Patel statue.

Sonia got a pen from Tariq Anwar and wrote that she was opposed to this element in the budget and gave the chit to Kharge, the Congress spokesperson to oppose the grant.

No, she was not opposed to Sardar Patel, she was incensed because the BJP had opposed Rs 100 crore given to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation by Dr Manmohan Singh in 1992.
