Former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda refuses to comment on the two missing pages of a file pertaining to DLF-Robert Vadra land deal, containing important notings."How can a former Haryana CM be asked to comment on missing papers," Hooda said today.

A huge uproar broke out today after whistleblower IAS officer Ashok Khemka revealed that two important pages have gone missing.

The issue came to light when Khemka, who was the director general (consolidation) when the land deal was cancelled, filed an RTI application seeking a copy of that file.

Responding to Khemka's RTI application, State Public Information Officer DR Wadhwa said in an affidavit: "The undersigned made many efforts to trace out page no. 1 and 2 of the noting of the official file, but could not trace the pages. Hence, the pages could not be provided to the appellant."

The file is related to a committee which was formed by the previous Haryana government to examine the rights of Khemka who cancelled the mutation of Vadra-DLF deal. Later, the committee gave a clean chit to the deal and chargesheeted Khemka for misconduct.
