Two buried in landslide in Chiplun in Maharashtra

Two persons, one of them an elderly man, were buried alive in a landslide near here in Ratnagiri district, police said today. The bodies of Parshuram Shivram Sutar, 63, and Bhagoji Ramji Sutar, 55, were recovered today from the debris, they said.
The duo, who worked as carpenters, was on their way to meet a contractor in Vinhere village when they were trapped on roadside in mudslide triggered by heavy rains last evening, the police said.
