Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam, actor, on work, partying and childhood crushes:

Q: What do you like most (and hate most) about acting?

A: I like that I get to earn the love of so many people while pursuing my passion. The worst is that family time takes a hit; it's a very time-consuming profession.

Q: Your latest 'epic fail'?

A: Turning up a day early for a party. I was terribly jetlagged when it happened. It was very embarrassing, but thankfully no one was around to see it.

Q: The last picture you took with your mobile?

A: My sister made a surprise visit to Mumbai. She got cake and decorated home the way we used to for birthday parties in our childhood. This was for Kaabil's success. I wanted to capture the moment.

Q: If you could do a film with any actor, living or dead, who would it be?

A: Ben Affleck. He was my childhood crush.

Q: What's the one thing you can't do without when you're shooting on location?

A: Chai and makkhan (butter).
