Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday accused Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of having committed an unforgivable sin by insulting the mandate given to the 'Mahagathbandhan'(Grand Alliance) in 2015 and allying with the BJP.

Tejashwi told reporters that the entire plot to frame him was a conspiracy hatched by Nitish and the BJP.

"Nitish has used me as an excuse to ally with (the) NDA. The charges against me have been framed as part of the conspiracy hatched by BJP and Nitish. They have got (an) FIR registered against me", Tejashwi said.

Tejaswi questioned Nitish's strong stand against corruption and asked whether he would ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to initiate a probe against actor Amitabh Bachchan, the son of Chattisgarh CM Raman Singh and elder brother of industrialist Gautam Adani - whose names have come up in Panama Paper leak scandal.

'DARE NITISH TO ASK PM TO PROBE INDIANS IN PANAMA LEAK'

"Now that Nitish Kumar has gone with the BJP, I dare him to ask PM to start a probe against people from the country whose names figure in the Panama Paper leak scandal", Tejashwi said.

Ridiculing Nitish's call of "antaraatma" to snap ties with RJD and join hands with BJP, RJD chief Lalu Prasad's younger son pointed out that the new Cabinet had 22 tainted ministers, 3 more than in the 'Mahagathbandhan' government.

"Nitish speaks of probity but 75 per cent of his ministers now are tainted. His "antaraatma" sleeps and rises at his own convenience", he said.
