In Short

  • An FIR has been lodged against Tejashwi Yadav in a corruption case.
  • The issue of Tejashwi Yadav will be discussed in the JD-U meeting chaired by Nitish Kumar.
  • Lalu and his daughter Misa Bharti's properties were raided last week by CBI and ED.

As Bihar Chief Minister chairs a crucial meeting of JD-U legislators and district presidents in Patna today, the ouster of deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, who has an FIR lodged against him in a corruption case, seems quite likely.

After CBI raided properties associated with Lalu Yadav followed by ED searches at his daughter Misa Bharti and her husband's properties last week, there is pressure mounting on Nitish to act against his coalition partner and RJD chief.
