Aaj kal paon zameen par...: Shivraj Chouhan's midair throne goof-up leads to flood of jokes

As floods wreak havoc in the state of Madhya Pradesh, a photo of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan being carried by policemen during a flood inspection is wreaking havoc on the internet.

Dressed all in white, because that seemed to be the appropriate dress code in a muddy flooded area, the CM's own PR machinery released the bizarre photo of Chouhan seated in what can be called a handy chair on the palms of two hapless policemen.

Apparently, the PR department hasn't heard of the phrase 'shooting yourself in the foot'. We bet it has now.

Twitter lost no time in ridiculing this stunt by the CM and the midair throne that became a joke on floods, leading to a flood of jokes.
