Advocate-son duo accused of sexually assaulting minor in Telangana's Nalgonda surrenders
Child right activists had yesterday rescued the minor girl from the house of Advocate M. Sudhakar Reddy and son Bharath for allegedly raping and impregnating her.

An advocate and his son surrendered before the police today in a case of sexual assault on a minor girl in Nalgonda.
Child right activists had yesterday rescued the minor from the house of Advocate M. Sudhakar Reddy (60), who along with his son Bharath Kumar (30), allegedly raped and impregnated her.

After being rescued, the minor was sent for a medical test by the police.
MINOR WORKED AS A DOMESTIC HELP
The minor, 14, had been working as a domestic help at the advocate's office and residence in Green Hills Colony for six months.
After being rescued, the minor alleged that she was thrashed several times by the father and son duo when she tried to resist the sexual assault.
"The girl, a native of Suryapet in Nalgonda district of Telangana, was brought to the advocate's house to do household chores. Since the day she came, she was subjected to sexual assaults by the duo.
CASE FILED
A case under Section 376 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 has been filed against the accused", said Chaitanyapuri inspector G. Guru Raghavendra.

Speaking to India Today, child right activist Achyut Rao said that the advocate and his son had committed two serious offences of forcing the child into bonded labour and sexually assaulting her.
