RK Nagar by-poll: DMK's Marudhu Ganesh to contest election in Jayalalithaa's constituency
Chennai's RK Nagar, or Dr. Radhakrishnan Nagar, was the late Jayalalithaa's constituency. The bypoll will be held on December 21. Votes will be counted on December 24.

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Working President MK Stalin announced Saturday that Marudhu Ganesh would be the party's candidate for the upcoming RK Nagar by-poll.
Chennai's RK Nagar, or Dr. Radhakrishnan Nagar, was the late Jayalalithaa's constituency.
The bypoll will be held on December 21. Votes will be counted on December 24.
The RK Nagar by-poll had earlier been scheduled to be held on April 12, but it was cancelled after Income Tax raids uncovered evidence of massive corruption and bribery.
