Rajasthan: Six killed, 8 injured after car collides with trolley in Chittorgarh

A tragic accident in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district took six lives and left eight seriously injured in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
The incident happened on National Highway 76 in Begun region of Chittorgarh when a Tavera collided with a Trolley. The Tavera was carrying fourteen members of a family from Rajasthan's Kota for Ramdevra fair held in Jaisalmer. The impact of the collision of Tavera, traveling at high speed with the Trolley, was such that six people, including a child, inside the Tavera, died at the spot.
On getting information, Highway ambulance took the injured to Begun hospital. Four out of those injured were taken to District hospital from where they were referred to Udaipur hospital. Gajendra SIngh Jodha, Deputy SP, Chittorgarh, mentioned, "The accident happened in the middle of the night." Chottorgarh District Collector Inderjeet Singh and SP Prasanna Kumar Khamesara reached the hospital in Baingu to inquire about the incident.
