The Odisha chief minister proposed a new line between Puri and Konark on the microblogging site at 10.05 PM on Friday night and it was responded positively at 10.08 PM by Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu.
It took Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu just three minutes to accept a proposal for a new railway line in Odisha from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Patnaik offered on Twitter that he was prepared to share half the cost of the project.

Prabhu immediately tweeted back saying,

Patnaik also said that with state's contribution, the rate of return would be more than 20 per cent for the railways.
