After last week's fidayeen attack on District Police Lines in Pulwama, intel inputs warn of similar attempts by terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Following the fidayeen attack on Police Lines in Pulwama district last week in which 8 security personnel were martyred, intelligence agencies have warned of more attempts by the Jaish-e-Mohammad terror group.
Three militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad were also killed in last week's encounter.
According to sources, the group of Jaish terrorists which attacked the District Police Lines in Pulwama is believed to have infiltrated from across the border via Poonch or north Kashmir and stayed in south Kashmir for over a month. Some members of the group are still active in south Kashmir. The police, CRPF and the Army have been asked to be extra vigilant to thwart any terror attack.
IGP of Jammu and Kashmir Police Munir Khan told India Today that security had been put on high alert as two groups of Jaish militants were still roaming in south Kashmir.
'HIZBUL, LASHKAR TERRORISTS HAVE GONE INTO HIDING'
Khan added that Hizbul and Lashkar terrorists had gone into hiding and that terrorists of foreign origin could also be involved. Sources say that specific orders have already been issued by top agencies in the wake of apprehensions that militants may be planning more of Pulwama-type attacks. "We have issued a general alert and we will keep issuing more like these. We have to be alert," Munir Khan said.
A video of a group of around 20 militants, believed to be from the Jaish-e-Mohammad, had surfaced last month. It is believed that this is the same group that is posing a threat. However, officials say such videos need to be authenticated first. "We need to check the authenticity of such videos first", said Munir Khan.
