PESTERING INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES

The hotel told PIA crew that the female guests at their hotel felt uncomfortable in the presence of PIA's male crew.

The hotel received several complaints of the airliner's male staff asking female guests at the hotel for their contact numbers.

After receiving these complaints, the management of the hotel decided that it would not rent rooms to PIA's male crew until action was taken against those involved in pestering female guests.

PIA'S PENCHANT FOR TROUBLE

PIA is not new at stoking trouble, from vanishing planes to unruly crew members, the airliner has done it all.

Reports suggest that PIA CEO sold an aircraft worth Rs 22 crore to a German museum for Rs 32 lakh.

Going back to February, a Heathrow-bound PIA aircraft was intercepted. It was then escorted by British warplanes to Stansted airport in northeast London because of a vague security threat.
