Akar Parkar gallery brings Safar-nama: Journeys Through Kalamkari. The hangings show the history of textiles especially as seen through Tapis Moghol, a rare and unique fabric from the 17th century.

A digitised version of the fabric from the Museum Of Printed Textiles, Mullhouse, France will be presented along with a show by contemporary artists Jayashree Chakravarty, Aditya Basak, Paula Sengupta, Archana Hande and Shrabani Roy. This show will later travel to Musee de la Toile de Jouy, Versailles, France. At Indian Museum, First Floor, 27 Jawahar Lal Nehru Road
