"We want to tell the Congress that never has any JDU leader made adverse remarks against Sonia or Rahul Gandhi, but such comments against our top leader will affect the tenure of the alliance," warned Tyagi.

"We will be the last party to walk out of the alliance in Bihar, the people of the state gave a mandate for five years against devisive forces and those conditions still exist," said Tyagi.

"Where is the Opposition on issues like mob lynching and farmer suicide? We will be with the Opposition on these issues after July 17," he added.

"The Congress is accusing us of not supporting the Dalit daughter of Bihar, but I want to tell them that the day Ram Nath Kovind was nominated as the NDA candidate, he had 60 per cent support. So where does the question of defeating the Opposition comes in?" the JD-U spokesperson said.
