Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is holding massive protest march in south Mumbai demanding better railway infrastructure for commuters in wake of the tragic stampede.

MNS had earlier condemned the Elphinstone Road Station stampede tragedy that claimed the lives of 23 people.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray joined the march from Metro station and walked up to the Western Railway headquarters.

The march seems to have disrupted traffic in various parts of South Mumbai.

Earlier, Mumbai Police had denied permission to MNS for march to Western Railwaya headquarters, however, the party has carried out the rally.

MNS workers turned up in large numbers to participate in the march that began around 1 pm.
