Mumbai: Video shows man checking HSC papers in cafe, alleges Yuva Sena
Yuva Sena having over footage and complaint to board

Shiv Sena's youth wing has released a video in which a man can be seen checking the examination papers in one of the cafe in western suburban of Mumbai. Yuva Sena alleged that the person in the video was checking the 12th standard HSC board papers. The youth wing members have submitted the entire video footage to the state board.

The board has demanded more evidence to prove that the video had HSC papers, before taking any action. The 30-minute-long video footage was allegedly shot by one of the Yuva Sena members at a restaurant in Vile Parle (East), nearly a fortnight ago. In the footage the man can be seen checking papers with a bar code on them. Size of the answer sheet also looks like a regular board answer sheet but it is still not clear whether this person was checking the HSC Board answer papers or not.

Aditya Thackeray-led Yuva Sena has demanded a thorough probe in this matter.

As per rules, teachers are not permitted to take the boards answer sheets home with them.

"We have raised this issue with the state board. We hope they will take some action. This is unfair with the students who study hard for HSC exams. HSC is one of the important stages of every student's life in the state. The way that person was checking the answer sheets is also suspicious. We have given the entire video footage to them and a letter of our complaint." said Sainath Durge, Yuva Sena core team member. Surge further added, "Our team member ascertained that the person was checking the HSC board answer sheets but could shoot video."

However, the board is still verifying the video and unless it's confirmed that the person was checking the HSC answer sheets, no action can be taken. The board is also trying to identify the person, who is checking the answer sheets in the video. "Yuva Sena had also demanded that the board should file a complaint in the police regarding this. On Monday, we will again go to the board to see what they have done in this regard," said Yuva Sena member, Rupesh Patil.
