"Participation of Indian artist in such program is nothing but seditious activity. Mika is going to sing Pakistani patriotic songs despite knowing the current tension between India and Pakistan. We condemn this act of Mika Singh. We request you to not only ban his future performances in Maharahstra but also request you to escalate this matter with the MHA and ask Home minister to cancel his visit to USA," Khopkar added.

The MNS also organised protest against Mika Singh in Mumbai and burnt down effigies in various parts of the city. Police detained few MNS workers in Dadar area of Mumbai.
