Gadchiroli Naxal attack: Cop injured in landmine blast dies, count of those wounded rises to 19

One of the policemen, injured in yesterday's Naxal attack in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district, has been martyred. The count of those wounded in the landmine blast has gone up to 19.

The victim has been identified as Suresh Telami. The attack took place near Bhamragad in Gadchiroli.

CRPF JAWAN's BODY FOUND IN ODISHA's BOLANGIR

Meanwhile, the body of a CRPF jawan was found lying in front of Chandanbhati College in Odisha's Bolangir district.

His family members have alleged that he was murdered. Investigation into the case in underway. Protesting locals have demanded a probe into his death.

Bolangir is a Naxal-affected district of Odisha.

On April 24, as many as 25 CRPF personnel were martyed in a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, the deadliest targetting security forces this year.
