Caught on cam: Lawyer thrashed with hockey sticks outside his house in Madurai
The lawyer parked his scooter and was about to enter his house when the three attackers pounced on him.
Hockey stick-wielding unidentified men attacked a lawyer outside his home in Madurai leaving the man seriously injured. The whole incident which took place late on Thursday was captured in the CCTV installed outside his house.
Ravichandran finished his work and was headed home on his scooter in the evening when three men, who were tailing him for some time, attacked him right outside his house.
Ravichandran parked his scooter and was about to enter his house when the three attackers pounced on him. CCTV images showed the lawyer being repeatedly attacked with hockey sticks and sickle.
Bleeding profusely, Ravichandran fell unconscious on the ground as the attackers fled from the scene.
Neighbours then noticed Ravichandran lying in a pool of blood and alerted his family. He was then taken to a hospital nearby and the police was informed about the incident.
Cops are investigating to find out if the attack on Ravichandran was due to personal enmity or any property dispute. The incident has created panic among the residents of the area and are now questioning the law and order situation.
