"We have issued heat wave warnings in isolated pockets of Gwalior, Satna and Indore divisions but this is confined to only around 30 per cent of the state. 10 days back heat wave conditions were spread across 70 to 75 per cent of the state," Kashyap said while talking to India Today.

"There is no weather pattern which is affecting the state right now. It is normal to have such temperatures during this part of the year and as we move into peak summer, the temperatures are likely to rise further," Kashyap added.
