Rain wreaks havoc in Hyderabad and Mumbai, life crippled
Heavy rains in Hyderabad and Mumbai since last night have thrown normal life out of gear as water entered low lying areas creating huge traffic blocks at most of the important locations and junctions and forcing people to vacate their houses. Here are the updates.
- Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner B Janardhana Reddy said Hyderabad city has witnessed about 164 mm rainfall during last night resulting in several localities getting inundated
- Due to heavy rainfall, financial capital Mumbai has also come to a standstill, Met department predicts more rainfall for Maharashtra
