Here is the full transcript of the letter:

Respected Chief Minister

As you may be aware that I'm disappointed with this situation where I have to step down without committing any offence. You may also be aware about the false allegation of lake encroachment which was started off by a particular media and later taken up by the rest was proven baseless.

However, there is a misconception in this regard among the general public. In this scenario to protect the image of Left Democratic Front which has been functioning well, I have taken this decision after discussing with NCP national leadership.

The unexpected observations from the honourable Kerala High Court have forced me to resign. I will be approaching the Supreme Court to get this cleared. I believe that I can make a comeback after proving my innocence in Supreme Court.

My party and I extend our whole hearted gratitude to you for your overwhelming help and support during my tenure as minister.

Wishing you all success.

Thomas Chandy
