Kulbhushan Jadhav's wife and mother had met him in Pakistan jail. Before meeting Jadhav, his wife and mother were strip searched and was asked to remove sindoor and mangal sutra. Even Pakistan Media humiliated the two ladies who were meeting Jadhav, an Indian Businessman, for the first time after he was abducted by Taliban from Iran and handed over to Pakistan.

Congress has already cleared its stand on this issue. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi had said, "Congress condemns this attitude of Pak Govt. It is inhumane. They have insulted the Indian women and their respect . We condemn it. We want Indian Govt to take a strong stand. We still want Kulbhushan Jadhav should be brought. He was charged in a military court but he wasn't caught during the war. He is not a prisoner of war. We want the Indian govt to clear its policy on how it will bring Kulbhushan back to India."
