Kashmir: JeM claims responsibility for IED attack in Sopore that killed 4 cops

Four policemen killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Sopore of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Following the incident, Jaish-e-Muhammad claimed responsibility for the attack.

Two policemen are also reported to have sustained severe injuries following the blast.

Militants had planted the IED near a shop in a lane between the 'Chotta Bazaar' and 'Bada Bazaar' in Sopore.

The policemen were patrolling the area in view of a separatist-sponsored strike there.
