Around 150 cow vigilantes had protested outside the premises of Hotel Hayat Rabbani in March this year alleging cow beef was being served there. Kamal Didi, a cow vigilante from Rashtriya Mahila Gau Raksha Dal had led the demonstration and entered into a heated exchange with the hotel staff claiming the hotel staff was involved in serving beef. It was also alleged that the hotel staff threw the remnants of the non-vegetarian food in the nearby park.

Hotel owner, Naeem, went missing soon after the ruckus began. However, no one from the demonstrating cow vigilante brigade was taken into custody. Jaipur Municipal Corporation has sealed the hotel premises on the charge of not discarding garbage properly.

"This was a preparation to repeat Dadri incident. If the police would not have been alert, it would have been no big deal if Dadri incident would have been repeated there," Naeem Rabbani, owner of Hotel Hayat Rabbani told India Today.
