Simultaneous raids in 35 locations took place all targeting the health minister. After 22-hours of the raid, Vijayabhaskar boasted that I-T couldn't even find more than Rs 10,000 with him or his family members.

Incidentally, sources from I-T department explained that they knew that no money would be recovered, but they were only behind documents and ledger copies. Through media, EC was able to collect data of houses being marked with codes which were related to circles of money distribution.

Amidst the commotion, a high tension incident had occurred inside Vijayabhaskar's residence which would have gone unnoticed had not it been recorded on camera.

The incident occurred midway during the raid. Food Minister Kamaraj and Special Envoy to Center tried to barge into Vijayabhaskar's house with party cadres. After a huge commotion, they were allowed inside by CRPF jawans.

GAME OF TAG

After a few minutes, AIADMK leader Thalavai Sundaram is seen to coming out of the house, carrying a bunch of papers. Vijayabhaskar and Kamaraj were standing on the porch, speaking to him. Thalavai Sundaram is then discreetly seen giving the papers to one of the servants of Vijayabhaskar, who is wearing a red shirt.

A CRPF jawan saw that and tried to pull the servant away for interrogation. At that point, a man presumed to be the driver of Vijayabhaskar takes the documents from the servants hands and runs towards the gate. Dodging out of the way of the jawans at the gate, the man throws the papers over the wall.

Amidst the commotion, a cadre picks it up and walks away. When asked by an I-T official as to what happened to the document, he said that they were just posters, but when questioned again as to why such a commotion for just a few posters, the official smiled and said that what they were looking for was not money and only such papers which carried the codes smartly embedded.

Incidentally, on Saturday, documents allegedly seized by I-T officials got leaked which if true can incarcerate Vijayabhaskar and many other ministers including CM Edappadi K Palaniswami.
