Did Pakistan leader Imran Khan secretly marry his spiritual guide?

If reports are to be believed, the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Imran Khan has secretly married for the third time.

Former Pakistan cricketer Imran Khan, reportedly, tied the knot with his spiritual guru in a secret ceremony in Lahore on January 1, 2018.

Reports say that the nikah (wedding ceremony) was performed by Mufti Saeed, a member of PTI core committee, who was also the nikah khawan when Khan married (his now ex-wife) Reham Khan in 2015.

Though multiple sources confirm that PTI political secretary Awn Chaudhary attended Imran Khan's wedding on January 1, Chaudhary has denied all such reports.

He however said, "I was with Khan in Lahore on the said dates."

Naeemul Haq, spokesman for the party also dispelled this impression. He stated, "Considering my 35-year-long association and keeping in view the fact that I have been privy to his personal life, I can say with absolute confidence that nothing like this occurred."

Naaemul also added, "Even if he (Imran Khan) marries, he will do after the general elections of 2018."

The wedding ceremony took place in Sector Y of Defence Housing Authority, Lahore, at the residence of a close confidante of the bride who also happens to be a friend of Imran Khan.

Khan's spiritual guide, who is now rumoured to be his wife had filed for divorce from her husband few months back. Her ex-husband confirmed the separation which, he said, they opted for spiritual reasons. He, however, denied his former wife marrying PTI chairman.

Imran Khan first tied the knot with Jemima Khan on May 16, 1995 that ended in divorce after nine years on June 22, 2004. His second marriage was with Reham Khan, a TV anchor, that lasted only 10 months.
