Hyderabad: Newly-wed hangs self, records selfie video alleging dowry harassment by husband, in-laws
20-year-old Anjum Faizan recorded her video and alleged that she was being tortured by her husband Arif alias Irfan and her in-laws.

A 20-year-old woman committed suicide after recording a selfie video in Hyderabad.
The victim, identified as Anjum Faizan, committed suicide by hanging herself at the residence of her parents in Minar colony under Balapur police station limit.
Anjum recorded her video and alleged that she was being tortured by her husband and in-laws.
Anjum married Arif alias Irfan of Yakuthpura on January 13 this year.
ANJUM SAYS 'SORRY' TO MOTHER IN VIDEO
At the end of the video, she said seen saying 'sorry' to her mother for taking the extreme step.
She alleged that since the day she got married, she was being harassed by her husband and in-laws for dowry.
She had come to live with her parents. Yesterday, at around 4:30 pm, she committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope inside the bathroom of her parents' house in Minar colony under the jurisdiction of Balapur Police Station.
A case has been booked against the in-laws and further investigation into the case is on.
