Gangster Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan: Brother Iqbal Kaskar to Thane Police
Iqbal Kaskar also revealed that he was is regular touch with Dawood's first wife Mehjabeen. Kaskar said he met Mehjabeen in Mumbai last year.

Two days after his arrest, Iqbal Kaskar during interrogation with Thane police commissioner Parambir Singh revealed that his brother and India's most wanted fugitive Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan.
Kaskar was repeatedly asked about the location of Dawood and finally he revealed that Dawood and his other family members stayed at a palatial mansion in Karachi, Pakistan.
Iqbal Kaskar also revealed that he was is regular touch with Dawood's first wife Mehjabeen. Kaskar said he met Mehjabeen in Mumbai last year.
Kaskar also revealed that the family owns four to five palatial mansions in the same neighborhood in Karachi and have tight security cover.
The ongoing investigation in the extortion cases registered against Kaskar has led the cops from anti extortion cell of Thane police to names of some more people associated with the gang.
A senior police officer privy to investigation revealed that the team will also investigate where the money collected through extortion was invested or diverted.
Thane police commissioner had said that they would also seek help from Enforcement Directorate to find out if the money was laundered and sent outside the country.
Another angle being probed is to find out whether Kaskar had invested the money in Bollywood for film making.
A movie set for release this week is under scanner and Thane police would soon get details of those associated with the movie.
Meanwhile, the two member team from Intelligence Bureau is also questioning Kaskar and other members of the gang to get details on Dawood and his other gang members.
Kaskar reportedly took control of the gang after death of his sister Haseena Parkar and since then roped in some new people to extend the gangs territory.
Thane became the target as the new members provided tip offs regarding builders and businessmen based in the area and were successful in carrying out extortion operations.
Also, the local political leaders joined hands with Kaskar which helped the gang further.
Kaskar during interrogation also confessed of meeting two corporators from Thane in 2016 who had helped him in extracting extortion money from the first complainant and the jeweller.
