Have you forgotten 1993 Mumbai blasts: Dawood aide threatens India Today
A caller from Karachi identified himself as D-Company's Usman Chaudhury. He said that Dawood Ibrahim was particularly miffed after his properties were auctioned off today.

After India Today aired a conversation between underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and one of his aides in connection with providing security to Nadeem Saifi, accused in singer Gulshan Kumar murder case, the channel's reporters have received threat calls from the D-company. The D-company also warned that it would not allow anyone to build on Dawood's 3 properties, which were auctioned in Mumbai today.
India Today reporter Virendrasingh Ghunawat got a threat call from a Karachi-based number within 24 hours after Dawood audio tapes were aired.
"Have you forgotten 1993 blasts?" asked the caller, who identified himself as Usman Chaudhary and a member of Dawood's gang.
The caller warned of a bigger attack than the 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai. He added that Dawood was particularly miffed after his properties in Mumbai were auctioned to Saifi Burhani Trust and that the don would not allow anyone to construct on the auctioned land.
'DARE NOT CONSTRUCT ON BHAI's LAND'
"We dare anyone to construct on bhai's land," he said.
The caller added that Dawood was not scared of the Modi government and warned of a major attack in the days to come.
India Today has handed over the threatening audio recording to Mumbai Police, which is now investigating the same.
"We have informed the Mumbai Police regarding the call and have alerted them. Mumbai Commissioner of Police and Joint CP (crime) have been informed about it", India Today crew said.
India Today had on Monday aired telephonic conversations of Dawood Ibrahim with members of his terrorist network. Nadeem Saifi spoke to India Today after the tapes were aired on television. Saifi says he has never heard Dawood's voice before and he never got any security cover from the D-Company as referred to in the audio tapes. The former Bollywood music director said he lives in Dubai running a perfume business which apparently is not faring well these days. Here's what Nadeem told India Today .
