Constable arrested on charges of sexually harassing MIA lady officer
The accused blamed the lady officer for the issues in his personal life, threatened her physically. The lady police officer was counseling him on his problems.

A 28 year old police constable posted at Mumbai protection branch has been arrested by Pune Police. A lady police officer of Maharashtra Intelligence Academy (MIA)has filed complaint of under section 354 against him.
As per the complainant The accused Nilesh Andres Bhalerao had exchanged number with the lady police officer while he was at the MIA and later contacted the officer to mediate in his personal problems. The constable was in a situation of a one-sided love affair for which the lady officer counseling him.
As per the complaint, the accused arrived at the MIA campus on Jauary 9th and approached the lady police officer. He blamed her for his affair gone wrong and used abusive language and held the lady officer by hand, pulling her.
The accused has been arrested on the charges of physical contact and advances involving unwelcome overtures. He was produced in the Pune district court and remanded to judicial custody. He has been sent to Yerwada central jail.
