At the wrong end of protest lies the police baton for Congress

Out of power, Congress leaders are realising that at the wrong end of protest lies the police baton. First, it was Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot, who was beaten by the police as he led a protest march towards the state assembly on March 4 in Jaipur. On March 16, Pilot was part of the Youth Congress march towards Parliament but escaped unhurt when the police rained batons on IYC chief Amarinder Singh Brar. The healing touch came from Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, who met Brar and shook hands with scores of IYC members.
