CISF guard rescues abandoned newborn girl from coal rake

Wrapped in warm blanket and a head gear, the two day-old baby girl is a miracle survivor. As the train chugged in every day with coal, CISF personnel deployed at the NTPC, Farakka on Sunday noticed an unusual consignment from a tower.

When the train wagon was checked, the baby was discovered who was breathing. A CISF official said, "CISF personnel on guard saved the life of a new bornbaby girl."

It appeares that the girl child was thrown in the moving coal rake by her parent. "CISF personnel came into action and rushed the baby girl to NTPC hospital. Bruised by coal, she is undergoing treatment. The local police has been informed and is said to be investigating the case.

CISF and NTPC are extending all possible help.
