Two bombs shells found near the residence of Punjab CM Badal

The recovery of two bomb shells from Rajindra Park, facing the official residence of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Monday sent the police into a tizzy.

The information about the bombs was given by an unknown caller. The police sources said the bomb shells were rusted. The police teams recovered the bombs from the park and immediately dumped them into a pit.

The police has informed the bomb disposal squad of the Army which will try to find out whether the bombs were already diffused or live.

Meanwhile, security was already tight in and around of the official residence of Punajb Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal located in Sector 2.
