Cases booked against BJP MLA Raja Singh Lodh, DJS's Mohammed Abdul Majid for promoting enmity

Cops have booked cases against BJP MLA Raja Singh Lodh and Mohammed Abdul Majid of DJS for promoting enmity among people and disruption of public order.

On 7th May, Goshamahal MLA Lodh, during an interview in the programme called Point Blank with NTV news channel, has allegedly stated Old City of Hyderabad is Mini Pakistan.

He also stated that he was preparing the private army (Prathyeka Sainyam) and training the youth with the lethal weapons to fight with others.

Subsequently, on 12th May, Mohammed Abdul Majid of DJS had conducted mass drill with arms and lathis at Hazrat Ujale Shah Edigha ground at around 6.30 am and gave provocative speeches to the participants.

Hence two separate cases were registered Cr.No.135/2017 U/s 153-A (c) IPC at PS Saidabad and Cr No: 53/2017 U/s 153- A IPC at Mirchowk PS respectively and notices U/s 41 A Cr PC have been issued to them for committing cognizable offence.
