Bengaluru police jeep ferries kids to school after driver found drunk

After a school van's driver was found to be drunk, Bengaluru police dropped six students to their school in police jeep.

This morning during a special drive conducted by Basavanagudi police inspector and his staff to ensure safety of school children, they intercepted a school van on suspicion that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Since he was driving rashly, they stopped and checked him. Their worst fears came true and the driver was immediately booked. Six children who were in the school van were later dropped by the police in their jeep.
