Caught on camera: Bengaluru residents under attack by pack of stray dogs

There are around ten dogs in the area that have been attacking passers-by without any provocation.

The dog menace in Bengaluru is getting worse with reports of a pack of stray dogs attacking locals early in the morning. Terrorising footage of residents of a neighbourhood near MS Ramaiah College facing off with stray dogs has been accessed by India Today.

The CCTV footage shows a woman being attacked by a pack of dogs. The woman is seen walking when suddenly around 10 dogs pounce on her and force her to fall down. One of the dogs even bites her in the leg.

A few minutes later, the dogs attack a man on his way to office who manages to escape.

There are around ten dogs that have been attacking passers-by in the area.

Several complaints have been made by the residents but no action has been taken so far.

The mayor of Bengaluru says that the reason they have been unable to take any action is that there is a court order that does not allow capturing and killing of stray dogs that could cause harm to people.
