Bengaluru horror: Class 5 students watch as their teacher is set on fire by ex-business partner
Based on the statements of the students, police have registered a case and launched a search for the accused.

A teacher at a government school near Bengaluru was set on fire allegedly by a former business partner in front of her students.
The woman was immediately rushed to a hospital, where her condition is said to be critical. Police have registered a case and investigations are on.
According to information accessed so far, the incident occurred in Magadi tehsil, which is nearly 60 kms from Bengaluru.
The victim, 50-year-old Sunanda, was teaching social science to Class 5 students at a government school on Wednesday.
Around 2 pm, her former business partner Renukadharya entered the classroom and started shouting at Sunanda. Soon, the argument between the two escalated and Sunanda asked Renukadharya to leave the classroom.
A fuming Renukadharya allegedly poured kerosene over Sunanda and set her on fire. The students in the classroom watched the horror unfold in front of them, and started crying for help.
Listening to their cries, the school staff reached the classroom and doused the fire. Sunanda was taken to a hospital where the doctors said that she has suffered 50 per cent burn injuries on her body.
Sunanda has been kept under round-the-clock observation as the nature of her injuries is serious. On receiving information about the incident, police too reached the spot.
Based on the statements of the students, police have registered a case and launched a search for the accused.
