16-year-old Bhopal boy ends life fearing failure, scores CGPA 9 in CBSE class 10

Ayush Parihar, a class 10 student at Jawahar Lal Nehru School in Bhopal, in his suicide note had apologised to his parents for letting them down and stated that he finds himself incapable of handling such pressure in future.

A Sixteen-year-old student of class 10 who committed suicide on May 24 due to fear of failure in the exams, has featured in the merit list of his school, scoring a 9 point CGPA in the high school exams conducted by CBSE.

NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

His father, Virendra Singh Parihar, lab assistant in the public sector undertaking BHEL, was in Allahabad for Ayush's last rites when the news reached him.

Parihar was understandably indifferent to the news and said that all was lost and the result was not important any more.
