Doha: In a tragic incident, a 6-year-old Malayali boy died in an accident at Qatar.
The deceased, Isan Ahmed Basheer, is the son of Parambath Basheer of Peringalam at Kunnamangalam in Kozhikode and Rafana.
Isan had gone along with his family members to a restaurant near Wukair Grand hyper market around 8. 30 pm on Saturday. However, he went missing while they were returning. His relatives soon launched a search and also lodged complaint with the police.
The police and civil defence conducted a search and recovered the body from the manhole in front of the restaurant on Sunday morning.
Isan is a Grade 1 student of Doha Ideal school.
