Salalah: A 32-year-old Keralite woman was found murdered at her residence here on Friday morning.
Royal Oman police said that Sindhu, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, was killed when she resisted a robbery attempt. The Oman police captured the accused within 24 hours.
The ornaments worn by Sindhu were recovered from the accused.
The accused was nabbed from Adam after the police conducted an intensive search. Police clarified that the accused had reached Oman illegally.
The body of Sindhu has been kept in the mortuary of Qaboos hospital in Salalah.
Sindhu was working in the cleaning department of Hilton Hotel for the past four years.
