Raising the issue as a submission in the Assembly, VS said that going ahead with the project as a continuation of the previous government's policy is not correct.

"Corruption is involved in the awarding of contract. The Adani group has violated the contract. A white paper should be released about the project,"VS said.

VS also asked the government to keep the election promise that the contract will be re-written.

Ports Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran said that he will respond to VS’ submission after consultations at the government level.
