Thiruvananthapuram: Veteran CPM leader V S Achuthanandan has expressed his displeasure over Kerala Congress (M)’s alleged move to join Left fold.
“It’s just a local news from Kottayam. Let it not be true,” he told media persons here.
VS further said he is standing firm on the allegations against K M Mani.
In a dramatic move today, KC(M)’s Zacharias Kuthiraveli was elected the President of the 22-member District Panchayat with the support of CPM.
The move was widely viewed as KC(M)’s plan to join the left fold and VS was responding queries in this regard.
Earlier too, VS had opposed the entry of K M Mani, who had to step down following remarks from Kerala High court over bar bribery allegations, to the Left fold.
