Thiruvananthapuram: Former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth will soon make a re-entry into politics.
The former pacer, who fought the last state Assembly elections on a BJP ticket from Thiruvanathapuram constituency, decided to become active in politics after a meeting with BJP National President Amit Shah here on Sunday.
Talking to Mathrubhumi News, Sreesanth said hereafter, politics will be the first and foremost thing in his life.
Though he contested from Thiruvananthapuram in the elections, Sreesanth was never active in state politics.
He marked his return to politics by participating in the World Environment Day organised by the BJP here.
Sreesanth said the party is giving a great opportunity to the youth to enter politics.
“On my part, I shall try to attract young people to the party,” he added.
