The Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) has sent a notice to Shajahan as part of the disciplinary action against him.

A case already exists against Shajahan for conducting protests in connection with the Jishnu Pranoy murder and Shajahan is currently under suspension following this.

Police had arrested Shajahan when he reached the venue of the agitation conducted by Jishnu Pranoy's mother and relatives in April.

Shajahan had alleged that he was being victimised because of his stand on the lavalin case.
